6 Green and Low-Carbon Projects Applied by Bank of Jiangsu Were Approved with China CDM Fund Concessional Loan

On January 13, 2021, China Clean Development Mechanism Fund Management Center (hereinafter referred to as “the Management Center”) approved the CDM concessional loans to Rudong Industrial Park Combined Heat and Power Generation Project of Golden Energy (Nantong) Co., Ltd., Annual Disposal of 100,000-ton SaponinLiquid for Comprehensive Utilization Project of Jiangsu Pujin Renewable Resources Co., Ltd., Guanyunyangqiao 200MWp Fishing and Photovoltaic Integrated Power Generation Demonstration Project of Jiangsu coastal TongweiFuyun New Energy Co., Ltd.,Heating Supply for Xufu Road Area Project of Lianyungang City GanyuUrban Construction Water Co., Ltd., 1.96416-MW Distributed Photovoltaic Power Projectof Xuzhou Yueli New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Yancheng Urban SRT Line 1 Project of Jiangsu Xingyan Superrail Transportation Co., Ltd.
All the above projects were applied and guaranteed by Bank of Jiangsu and got approved with a total loan of RMB 260 million. The loan interest rate of 4 projects is the loan market quotation rate (LPR) -58.75bp in a 5-year term on the contract signing day, while the other 2 projects has same interest rate condition in a 3-year term. It’s estimated that the 6 projects can totally leverage social capital of RMB 2,846 million.
ⅠRudong Industrial Park Combined Heat and Power Generation Project of Golden Energy (Nantong) Co., Ltd
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 69 million and the Bank of Jiangsu provides demand financing guarantee for the loan to the Management Center.
The project mainly aims to build up one 75t/h gas boiler, two 150t/h high-temperature and ultra-high pressure circulating fluidized bed coal-fired boilers, two 15MW back pressure turbine generator sets and supporting facilities, one 300t /h high-temperature and ultra-high pressure circulating fluidized bed coal-fired boiler, and one 30MW back pressure turbine generator set and supporting facilities. After the project is completed, it is estimated that the annual power generation will be 518GWh/a and the annual heat supply will be 9,097,400 GJ/a. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and energy efficiency enhancement. Taking effective methods such as regional central heating, clean and efficient use of coal, and energy efficiency improvement, the project can realize reduction of carbon dioxide emission.
Ⅱ Annual Disposal of 100,000-ton SaponinLiquid for Comprehensive Utilization Project of Jiangsu Pujin Renewable Resources Co., Ltd.
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 12 million and the Bank of Jiangsu provides demand financing guarantee for the loan to the Management Center.
The major contents of the project are to purchase raw material tanks, heating tanks, dividing tanks, finished product tanks, centrifuges and other equipment and utilize heating, separation and other processes to build up an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of saponin liquid. The project belongs to the category of comprehensive utilization of resources. After completion, it is expected to produce 50,000 tons of acidified oil per year. The project achieves the reduction of pollutant emissions by recycling a large number of waste emulsions and other wastes generated during the production and operation of the electroplating industry, metallurgy, electronics and other industries.
Ⅲ Guanyunyangqiao 200MWp Fishing and Photovoltaic Integrated Power Generation Demonstration Project of Jiangsu coastal TongweiFuyun New Energy Co., Ltd.
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 69 million and the Bank of Jiangsu provides demand financing guarantee for the loan to the Management Center.
The project will majorly constructa fishing and photovoltaic integrated power station with an installed capacity of 200MWp. The project belongs to the category of clean energy development and utilization. After completion, it is estimated that the average annual power generation will be 227,769,700 kWh. The project can make full use of agricultural land such as ponds, tidal flats, lakes or undeveloped land (non-basic farmland), and adopt the methods of water power generation and underwater fishing to achieve efficient utilization of resources.
Ⅳ Heating Supply for Xufu Road Area Project of Lianyungang City Ganyu Urban Construction Water Co., Ltd.
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 69 million and the Bank of Jiangsu provides demand financing guarantee for the loan to the Management Center.
The project majorly aims to lay a total length of 79,336 meters of heating pipes. Among them, the DN800 pipeline is 21,810 meters, the DN400 pipeline is 30,661 meters and the DN200 pipeline is 26,865 meters. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and energy efficiency enhancement. After completion, it can replace the self-use small boilers in this area to reduce pollutant emissions and improve the local environment. At the same time, it can meet the production needs of enterprises, and also generate economic and social benefits.
Ⅴ 1.96416-MW Distributed Photovoltaic Power Project of Xuzhou Yueli New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 3 million and the Bank of Jiangsu provides demand financing guarantee for the loan to the Management Center.
The main content of the project is to install 1,964.16kW photovoltaic modules and supporting facilities on the roof of a joint factory building of Caterpillar (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. The project belongs to the category of clean energy development and utilization. After completion, the project can help optimize the energy mix of the local power system, realize power supply diversification and further promote the sustainable and rapid development of regional low-carbon economy.
Ⅵ Yancheng Urban SRT Line 1 Project of Jiangsu XingyanSuperrail Transportation Co., Ltd.
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 38 million and the Bank of Jiangsu provides demand financing guarantee for the loan to the Management Center.
The project is mainly about construction of a SRT route with a total length of about 16.5 kilometers and vehicle procurement, etc. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and energy efficiency enhancement. SRT is a transportation mode with low pollution and low energy consumption. Considering its advantages of large passenger capacity and low energy consumption per capita, it can further reduce energy consumption and pollution, and has good environmental benefits.
