Three Projects Were Approved with China CDM Fund Concessional Loan

On April 10, 2020, China Clean Development Mechanism Fund Management Center issued Reply Letter to approve the grant of the CDM concessional loan to TBEA Chongren County Xiangshan Town 50MW Wind Power Generation Project Phrase I of TBEA Sunoasis Co., Ltd, Pacemaker No. 1 100MWp Photovoltaic Project of TBEA Sunoasis Co., Ltd and Baotou Guangyi Solar Power Generation Company Limited, and Emaozhai 120MW Agriculture-PV Complementary Project Phase III of Panzhou Shengyousheng New Energy Co., Ltd. in Guizhou.
The 3 projects were approved with a total loan of RMB 207 million, all favored at an interest rate 58.75 points reduced on the basis of the LPR (Loan Prime Rate) on the contract-signing date in a five-year term. It’s estimated that the 3 projects can totally leverage social capital of RMB 1,518 million.
I TBEA Chongren County Xiangshan Town 50MW Wind Power Generation Project Phrase I of TBEA Sunoasis Co., Ltd
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 69 million and issued an on-demand financing guarantee by Agricultural Bank of China Limited Changji Branch.
The main component of the project is to build up wind farm with a total installed capacity of 50MW, including the installation of 18 wind turbines and related supporting engineering. It belongs to the category of clean energy development and utilization. After the project is completed, wind can be utilized to generate power, which is conducive to cutting down the consumption of conventional fossil energy and thereby reduces greenhouse gas emissions. It is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 74,329 tCO2e annually.
II Pacemaker No. 1 100MWp Photovoltaic Project of TBEA Sunoasis Co., Ltd and Baotou Guangyi Solar Power Generation Company Limited
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 69 million and issued an on-demand financing guarantee by Agricultural Bank of China Limited Changji Branch.
The main component of the project is to build up a photovoltaic station with an installed capacity of 100MW, including component and inverter installation and line installation, etc. It belongs to the category of clean energy development and utilization. After the project is completed, solar energy can be used to generate power, which is conducive to lowering the use of conventional fossil energy, thereby reduces greenhouse gas emissions. It is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 160,851 tCO2e per year.
III Emaozhai 120MW Agriculture-PV Complementary Project Phase III of Panzhou Shengyousheng New Energy Co., Ltd. in Guizhou
The project was approved with a loan of RMB 69 million and issued an on-demand financing guarantee by Agricultural Bank of China Limited Guangzhou Taojin Branch.
The main component of the project is to construct a 120-megawatt agriculture-PV complementary photovoltaic power station, including construction of photovoltaic arrays in photovoltaic fields, booster stations, and 35kV transmission lines. It belongs to the category of clean energy development and utilization. Using solar energy to supplement and replace traditional coal-fired power, the project can improve energy efficiency, lower fuel consumption and thus realize greenhouse gas emission reduction. After the project is completed, it is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 99,434 tCO2e on annual basis.
