China Power Changshu Gas Turbine Cogeneration Project of China Power Changshu Thermal Power Co., Ltd.

On March 2, 2020, the project was approved with the China CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 69 million and guaranteed by the Changshu Branch of Bank of Jiangsu.
The project main component is to build 2 new 100,000-kilowatt gas turbine cogeneration units and auxiliary facilities, categorized as clean energy development and utilization. After reaching designed capacity, the project can achieve annual power generation of 1.102 billion kWh and heat supply of 2.9323 million GJ. The project utilizes cogeneration technology to reduce carbon emissions of heating systems, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
