On December 27, 2019, a loan of RMB 69 million was approved by China CDM Fund to the project and the Industrial Bank Fuzhou Sub-Branch provides guarantee.
The major construction of the project includes the main production facilities such as kitchen waste treatment systems, anaerobic fermentation and dehydration systems, biogas purification and utilization systems, and auxiliary public engineering facilities. After the project is completed, it is estimated that a 400-ton kitchen waste disposal capacity on daily basis can be achieved. By introducing the concept of circular economy, the project implements the source classification and utilization of wastes, and improves the recycling system of renewable resources, so as to realize a sustainable development model of urban domestic waste featured as classified recovery, cyclic utilization, and greenhouse gas emission reduction. It’s estimated that an average amount of 47,099 tCO2e of carbon dioxide emissions annually will be reduced.
