Guangdong Yuedian Yangjiang Saltern Shuangyu Salt and Photovoltaics Complementation Project of Guangdong Yuedian Yangxi Shuangyu New Energy Co., Ltd.

The project was approved with China CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 69 million on March 11, 2019. Under the project, a photovoltaic power generation system with a total capacity of 100 MW and other supporting facilities such as photovoltaic arrays, container inverters and booster stations will be constructed. It’s estimated that a total amount of 99,910MWh’s on-grid power can be provided annually upon the completion of the project. The project is about clean energy development and utilization. Utilizing clean renewable resources–solar power to supplement and replace traditional coal-fired power is able to enhance energy utilization rate and reduce fuel consumption and so as to realize greenhouse gas emission reduction. After the project is being put into production, it’s expected that an amount of 73,833 tCO2e greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced annually.
