Huilai Haiwanshi Wind Farm “Demolition and Reconstruction” project of Huilai Wind Energy Co., Ltd.

The project was approved with China CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 38 million on March 11, 2019. It mainly includes shutdown and dismantlement of the old 22 units of N43-600 wind power generators, relocation and installment of 7 units of wind power generators with unit capacity being 2MW and construction of one 110kV booster station. When the project is completed, it’s estimated that 36,412MWh on-grid power can be provided annually. The project belongs to the category of energy conservation and energy efficiency enhancement. By adopting new wind power generators to replace the old low-efficient wind power equipment, the project helps elevate system generating capacity and energy utilization rate and reduce fuel consumption, thus realize the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. When being put into production, the project can cut down carbon dioxide emission by 18,744tCO2e annually.
