Three projects were Approved with China CDM Fund Concessional Loan

Huilai Haiwanshi Wind Farm “Demolition and Reconstruction” project, Guangdong Yuedian Leizhou Agriculture Photovoltaic Comprehensive Development Project and Guangdong Yuedian Shuangyu Salt and Photovoltaics Complementation Project were Approved with China CDM Fund Concessional Loan

On March 11, 2019, China Clean Development Mechanism Fund Management Center issued Reply Letter to approve the CDM concessional loan to Huilai Haiwanshi Wind Farm “Demolition and Reconstruction” Project of Huilai Wind Energy Co., Ltd., Guangdong Yuedian Harvest Company Agriculture Photovoltaic Comprehensive Development Project of Guangdong Yuedian Leizhou New Energy Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Yuedian Yangjiang Saltern Shuangyu Salt and Photovoltaics Complementation Project of Guangdong Yuedian Yangxi Shuangyu New Energy Co., Ltd. Guangdong Yuedian Finance Co., Ltd provided guarantee for the above 3 projects and issued Demand Guarantee to China CDM Fund Management Center. The 3 projects were approved with RMB 176 million and can leverage social capital of RMB 1032.6 million. It’s estimated that totally 117,279tCO2e of greenhouse gas emission can be reduced.

ⅠHuilai Haiwanshi Wind Farm “Demolition and Reconstruction” project of Huilai Wind Energy Co., Ltd.

The project mainly includes shutdown and demolition of the old 22 units of N43-600 wind power generators, relocation and installment of 7 units of wind power generators with unit capacity being 2MW and construction of one 110kV booster station. When the project is completed, it’s estimated that 36,412MWh on-grid power can be provided annually. By adopting new wind power generators to replace the old low-efficient wind power equipment, the project helps elevate system generating capacity and energy utilization rate and reduce fuel consumption, thus realize the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The project was approved with China CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 38 million

ⅡGuangdong Yuedian Harvest Company Agriculture Photovoltaic Comprehensive Development Project of Guangdong Yuedian Leizhou New Energy Co., Ltd.

The project mainly includes construction of a 40MW photovoltaic power station, one 110kV booster station and supporting facilities. When completed, the project is estimated to provide on-grid power of 43,900MWh annually. Solar power as one of the clean energy is to supplement and replace traditional coal-fired power generation can increase energy utilization rate and lower fuel consumption, and finally achieve greenhouse gas emission reduction. The project was approved with China CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 69 million.

Ⅲ Guangdong Yuedian Yangjiang Saltern Shuangyu Salt and Photovoltaics Complementation Project of Guangdong Yuedian Yangxi Shuangyu New Energy Co., Ltd.

Under the project, a photovoltaic power generation system with a total capacity of 100 MW and other supporting facilities such as photovoltaic arrays, container inverters and booster stations will be constructed. It’s estimated that a total amount of 99,910MWh’s on-grid power can be provided annually upon the completion of the project. Utilizing clean renewable resources–solar power to supplement and replace traditional coal-fired power is able to enhance energy utilization rate and reduce fuel consumption and so as to realize greenhouse gas emission reduction. The project was approved with China CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 69 million
