Polyurethane External Wall Insulation Material and Integrated Building Construction Project of Shandong Wanhua Energy-Saving Technology Group CO., Ltd

On February 21, 2019, China Clean Development Mechanism Fund Management Center (hereinafter referred to as “the CDM Fund”) issued Reply Letter to approve the grant of the CDM Fund concessional loan to Polyurethane External Wall Insulation Material and Integrated Building Construction Project of Shandong Wanhua Energy-Saving Technology Group CO., Ltd. The project was guaranteed by China Minsheng Banking Corp. Ltd (CMSB) Yantai Branch, which issued Demand Financing Guarantee to China CDM Fund Management Center. The project was approved with RMB 62.5 million and is able to leverage social capital of RMB 218.1 million. It’s estimated that totally 18,744 tCO2e of carbon dioxide emission can be reduced.
The project is mainly about the new construction of 2 and transformation and removal of 3 polyurethane insulation plate serial production lines, new adoption of 1 set integrated building wallboard production line and 4 assembly lines and construction of mixed material production workshops. Polyurethane insulation plates produced under this project enjoy characteristics of low heat transfer coefficient and good heat preservation and thermal insulation capacities. When adopted in building enclosure, they can lower building heat consumption indicator compared with common thermal insulation materials, thus reduce energy consumption and realize greenhouse gas emission reduction.
