The project was approved with China CMD Fund concessional loan of RMB 69 million on January 28, 2019. It’s mainly about the new construction of 6×70MW gas-fired boiler, 5×70MWgrate hot-water boiler, 63 heat exchange stations and 38.9km supporting heating pipelines. When completed, the project can replace the old 41 boiler rooms and 82 small boilers and newly increased an area of 14.7 million m2. The project belongs to category of energy conservation and energy efficiency. By dismantling small boilers, it can effectively reduce comprehensive energy consumption and cut down emissions of carbon dioxide and other waste gas and residue, so as to realize energy-saving and emission reduction. It’s estimated that greenhouse gas emission of 213,093tCO2e can be reduced annually.
