Qiaokao and Sanhe Village Area Centralized Heating Expansion Project of Hohhot Chengfa Heating Co., Ltd was Approved with China CDM Fund Concessional Loan
On January 28, 2019, China Clean Development Mechanism Fund Management Center (hereinafter referred to as “the CDM Fund”) issued Reply Letter to approve the CDM concessional loan of RMB 69 million to Qiaokao and Sanhe Village Area Centralized Heating Expansion Project of Hohhot Chengfa Heating Co., Ltd. The loan was guaranteed by Industrial Bank Co., Ltd. The project can leverage social capital of RMB 843.105 million and reduce carbon dioxide of 213,093tCO2e annually.
The project mainly aims at newly constructing 6×70MW gas-fired boiler, 5×70MWgrate hot-water boiler, 63 heat exchange stations and 38.9km supporting heating pipelines. When completed, the project will replace the old 41 boiler rooms and 82 small boilers in areas of Qiaokao and Sanhe Village and newly increased centralized heating areas of 14.7 million m2. By dismantling small boilers, it can effectively reduce comprehensive energy consumption and cut down emissions of carbon dioxide and other waste gas and residue, so as to realize energy-saving and emission reduction.
