New Energy Supply Center Project in Qingpu Industrial Park by Shanghai Shenergy Qingpu Thermal Power Co., Ltd.

The project was approved by China CDM Fund with concessional loan of RMB 36 million on December 26, 2018. It will newly build up 3 50t/h and 1.3MPa gas-fired boilers and affiliated facilities. When the project is completed, demand for heat supply by all the enterprises in Qingpu Industrial Park can be basically satisfied. The project belongs to energy-saving and energy efficiency enhancement. Under this project, original coal boilers in heat supply area will be taken place by gas-fired ones, in such a way, energy utilization rate can be elevated while fuel consumption will be cut down, thus achieves greenhouse gas emission reduction. It’s estimated that the project can realize reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 55,013tCO2e annually.
