Off-Gas Carbon Black Production Comprehensive Utilization and Energy Conservation Transformation Continued Construction Project of Shanxi Lixin Chemical Co., Ltd.

This project was granted with a concessional loan of RMB 15 million on November 8th 2017. It is mainly about conducting energy-saving transformation of the rest of 4 carbon black production lines based on the successful energy-saving and technical transformation pilot project implemented by the Company in 2014. Detailed contents include: building up gas system, water system and thermal system; purchasing desulfuration scrubbers, cyclone collectors, off-gas coolers, fans and other equipment and electric appliances, instruments and other ancillary equipment. This project relates to industrial energy conservation and energy efficiency enhancement. It utilizes the large amounts of off-gas produced during production to take place of smokeless carbon, crude tar and other fuels to provide fuels for production lines, so as to optimize the fuel production mix of the carbon black. When being put into production, the project can reduce carbon emission reduction of 32,433 tCO2e on annual basis and leverage social capital of RMB 37.64 million.
