Shanxi Province: Biomass (straw) Power Generation Project with Capacity of 2×15MW by Shanxi Province Xiangfen County Puxin Power Generation Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 30 million on March 16, 2017. It mainly includes installing 2×75t/h biomass direct combustion boilers and 2×15MW direct air cooling turbine generators and auxiliary facilities. It uses biomass to generate power instead of coal and uses the excess heat for heating supply, which can effectively increase energy supply and reduce emissions of CO2 and other pollution. The project falls under the category of renewable energy. The project can leverage private funds of 180.67 million RMB. After being put into operation, it is estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emission by 91,910tCO2e annually.
