Jilin Province: The Sludge Disposal Upgrade and Expansion Project with Daily Capacity of 200 Tons by Jilin Province Dongliao County RiYueXing Organic Fertilizer Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 55 million on March 16, 2017. It mainly includes transforming the current workshops and storehouse, building the new sludge disposal workshop and facilities, and acquiring the sludge disposal and methane fermenting equipment. It uses the sludge to produce fertilizers and methane, which reduces the emission of methane from the conventional disposal way of sludge, and further generates heat and power with the methane as an alternative to fossil fuel, cutting off the greenhouse gas emission. The project belongs to the category of comprehensive utilization of resources. It can leverage private capitals of 134.01 million RMB. After being put into operation, it is estimated to reduce greenhouse gas emission by 11,433tCO2e annually.
