Jiangsu Province: High Speed Steel Production Line Upgrading and Expansion Project by Jiangsu Jinggong Specialty Material Co., Ltd.

The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 65 million yuan on February 10, 2017. It mainly includes importing a radial forging machine and an automatic tandem rolling equipment to replace the existing semi-automatic equipment. Once installed and put into operation, it can save the cost by RMB 21.87 million yuan per 10,000 tons of high speed steel. By introducing efficient advanced equipment, it improves the processing yield and reduces fuel consumption, thus cutting down the greenhouse gases emission. The project belongs to the category of energy saving and efficiency improving. It can leverage RMB 250 million yuan of private funds. Once put into operation, it is estimated to reduce greenhouse gases emission by 18,032tCO2e annually.
