The project was granted a concessional loan of RMB 65 million yuan on October 19, 2016. It mainly includes installing the busbar production line, the large span standard plants and ancillary equipment. Once completed, it can produce 90,000 meters of high and low voltage busbar, 30,000 meters of screening tube insulated busbar and 25,000 meters of resin cast busbar every year. Contrasted with the air type cables, the busbar in the project has less resistance per unit length and therefore reduces electricity loss and carbon emission. The project belongs to the category of manufacturing of energy-saving equipment and materials. It can leverage private funds of RMB 155 million yuan. Once put into operation, it has the potential to cut greenhouse gas emission by 12,636tCO2e annually.
