China welcomes the decisions of Turkey, South Korea and Austria to join AIIB as prospective founding members

On March 26, Turkey officially announced its application to join Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) as a prospective founding member and had submitted written confirmation to China. China welcomes the decision of Turkey. As chairman of the chief negotiators’ meeting of the prospective foundering members of AIIB, China is soliciting opinions from existing prospective founding members. If its application is approved, Turkey will officially become a prospective AIIB.founding member on April 10.
