Deputy Director General Zheng Quan participated in the Seminar on Private Sector Promoting Greater Emission Reductions

On 12th April, Deputy Director General Zheng Quan of China CDM Fund Management Center was invited to participate in the seminar Private Sector Promoting Greater Emission Reductions held by IFC and MOF. Also present at the seminar were representatives from the international department of MOF, China Banking Regulatory Commission, foreign financial institutions, etc.
The participants discussed the latest development of CHUEE, innovation in the field of low carbon development by governments and financial institutions, and ways to utilize private investment to boost energy conservation and emission reduction. Deputy Director General Zheng Quan introduced the low carbon financing business of Fund, and the experiences of CHUEE. She expressed the hope of carrying out more cooperation with private enterprises such as IFC to contribute more to the ecological civilization of China.
