The Supervision and Inspection Department of MOF and CDM Fund Management Center Holding a Workshop

The Supervision and Inspection Bureau under MOF and China CDM Fund Management Center jointly held a workshop on tackling climate change and supervision of national revenue payment in Nanchang, Jiangxi province on March 15th to 17th. Financial supervision and inspection commissioner offices from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong and other 7 provinces participated in the workshop. Mr.Chen Huan, Director-General of China CDM Fund Management Center, Zhang Qiang,Deputy Director General of Supervision and Inspection Department, Wang Bing, Deputy Director General of finance bureau of Jiangxi province, Gu Huaye, deputy commissioner of supervision office in Jiangxi, took part in the opening ceremony and delivered keynote speeches.
The training focused on many topics, such as causes of climate change, latest development of global negotiations on climate change, low carbon economy, carbon finance, global and domestic carbon trading market, finance and taxation policies on emission reduction, etc.
All participants all expressed that they learned new knowledge, and agreed that the training would play an important role in improving the scientific management of supervision department, raising the efficiency of fund use, and implementing the 12th Five-year Plan and Work Plan on GHG Emissions Control.
The workshop strengthened the cooperation between Management Center and financial supervision commissioner office in different areas, and improved the work concerning national revenue payment.
