Chairwoman He Bangjing visiting UK and Switzerland

Madam He Bangjing, Chairwoman of the Strategic Development Committee of CDM Fund, led delegation to visit UK and Switzerland where she met with Mr. Rick Bertasi, Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG London and Mr.Jarraud, general secretary of WMO respectively.
Jarraud about measures and actions China had taken to address climate change, and effect of CDM fund in China. Mr. Jarraud spoke highly of what Chinese government had did to respond climate change, and was willing to keep in touch with CDM Fund. He presented Chairwoman He with a cartoon book on climate change published by WMO for children, and was invited to present the book with his signature to Beijing Second Experimental School.
At the UK headquarter of Deutsche Bank, Mr Bertasi introduced the bank’s latest development on carbon efficiency management, and shared his views on carbon market issues. Chairwoman He elaborated on the work plan of management centerthis year, and put forward several suggestions on bilateral cooperation on carbon efficiency management and “MRV”(measurable, reportable and verifiable) as well as knowledge sharing and financing. Mr. Bertasi pleasantly accepted Chairwoman’s invitation of visiting China in August to discuss cooperation details on carbon efficiency management, carbon market design and carbon financing.
