Jiangsu Province: the Huai’an city refuse incineration power generation project by Jiangsu Huai’an Zhongke Green Energy Co., Ltd. The project is to install three refuse incineration furnaces (two for day-to-day use and one as standby) with daily garbage disposal of 500 tons and ancillary flue gas cleaning facilities as well as two 15 MW extracting and condensing steam turbine generator units. Once completed, they can replace the traditional fossil fuel power generation and avoid methane (CH4) emission created by landfill, thus cutting carbon emission. The project belongs to the category of alternative energy. Once put into operation, it is estimated to cut greenhouse gases emission by 42,976 tCO2e annually.
