Beijing: the Future Tech City project to install gas-powered water heater and cogeneration units, by Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Ltd. The project is to build a set of 200-megawatt gas and steam combined cycle cogeneration units and a 58-megawatt gas-generated water heater. The maximum heat supply capacity reaches 190 megawatt. Once put into operation, the annual energy output is expected to be 1.1billion KWH with the annual heat supply of 2.13million GJ, reducing greenhouse gas emission by 133,639 tCO2e every year.
