Hubei Province: the new energy urban public transportation system building project

The project includes purchasing new energy buses and constructing the main part of the parking and maintenance lot as well as ancillary facilities. The buses are either full electric or gas-electric hybrid rather than fuel oil powered, and therefore can effectively reduce energy consumption and exhaust emission. It is estimated that, once put into operation, the project will cut greenhouse gas emission by 2,198 tCO2e annually.
