Shanxi Province: the Ultra-High-Power graphite electrode production project by adopting the vertical lengthwise graphitization furnace technique with the annual output of 40,000t, by Sanyuan Carbon Co., Ltd. In order to build the UHP graphite electrode production line and ancillary facilities, it adopts the clean technology of vertical graphitization furnace to replace the old horizontal furnace. As a result, it can effectively reduce energy consumption and increase the exhaust recovery rate, eventually cutting greenhouse gas emission. The project falls into the category of energy conserving and efficiency improving projects. Once fully put into operation, it will reduce greenhouse gas emission by 98,881 tCO2e annually.
