Beijing: the second-stage construction project of Beijing Caoqiao Fuel Gas Combined Cycle Thermal Power Plant, by Beijing Jingqiao Thermal Power Co., Ltd. The project is to install an F-grade gas and steam combined cycle generator set, which consists of two gas turbines, two heat recovery steam generators and a steam turbine, and related ancillary environment protection and water treatment facilities. Its power generation capacity reaches 838MW with the heating capacity of 592MW (maximum: 700MW). It is predicted to generate 3.8 billion KWh electricity and supply 6.14 million GJ heat every year, enough for 12 million square meters indoor areas. According to evaluation authorities, the average annual greenhouse gas emission reduction of the project is 635,121tCO2e.
