2×104Nm3/d Biological Natural Gas and Organic Fertilizer Ecological Recycling Project of Shanxi Shenmu New Energy Co., Ltd.

The project was approved with the CDM Fund concessional loan of RMB 25 million on March 20, 2020, guaranteed by the Jinshang Bank Co., Ltd.

The main component of the project is to build pretreatment workshop, anaerobic fermentation tank, purification workshop, fertilizer production workshop, and office and supporting public facilities. It is categorized as clean energy development and utilization. After the project is completed, it could produce 7 million cubic meters of bio-natural gas and 20,300 tons of organic fertilizer for vehicles, , and process  20,300 tons of manure (weight of water included) and 40,600 tons of crop straw (weight of water included). By recycling agricultural wastes, the project can lower the use of fossil fuels, promote energy structure adjustment, improve air quality and further reduce pollutant emissions. After the project is put into use, it is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 3,730 tCO2e annually.
